• The oil-cooled termination 8141, 250 watts is a 50-ohm, portable, stand-alone, general-purpose coaxial transmission line termination that requires no external power source or additional equipment.
• It provides an accurate, reliable and virtually non-reflective termination to test and adjust the transmitters in non-radiation conditions.
• The charge consists essentially of a cylindrical film-type resistor immersed in a dielectric coolant.
• The resistance, selected individually for its precision, is enclosed in a special conical housing that provides a linear reduction in the surge impedance directly proportional to the distance along the resistance.
• This produces the uniform line termination, virtually without reflection, of DC at 2.5 GHz.
• Rugged portable bench load for medium power base stations RF test up to 2.5 GHz.
• Oil-assisted convection cooling for safe and continuous operation up to 250 Watt of full rated power.
