Product Specifications
A stabilizer or anti-twist arm, as is also known, is an element designed to hold the tower at a certain height to prevent movement due to strong wind currents
Unlike a flange (which is held at one point on each side of the tower) a stabilizer is held at 2 points per side, i.e., at the same height, it will be held at 6 points, which prevents excessive twisting in the tower and a better structure rigidness.
When do you install a stabilizer?
A stabilizer is not a required piece when assembling a tower. Generally, a stabilizer is installed when:
- It has a large trailing surface antenna (equal or greater than 1 m of diameter).
- When there are strong winds due to terrain conditions.
- In high precision wireless links
It is recommended to replace the installation of a flange when adding a stabilizer since we remember that the more cables we put to the tower, the heavier it will be and the more cargo we will be delivering to the ground.
